Find Remanufactured Inkjet Cartridges
Cost effectivity is one thing that the customers take into account while buying any of the products whether it is a printer or the printer ink cartridges. Once you buy an ink cartridge for $50, you do not need to buy them again due to the cost associated with them. If you do not want to waste your money with some third party compatible cartridges, go in for some remanufactured inkjet cartridge. These original cartridges are taken up by the companies and remanufacture them according to their needs. These remanufactured inkjet cartridge suit the specifications of an original cartridge.
One thing that you must consider is that only those cartridges which have the write of printer heads attached to them can be used as remanufactured inkjet cartridge. There are separate companies that deal with the remanufactured ink cartridges. The only cartridges that the remanufacturers make are limited to HP and Lexmark. No other company in the market manufactures ink cartridges with a reusable write head. Thus, the remanufactured inkjet cartridge is manufactured only for HP and Lexmark.
The steps take by the remanufacturers in the process of remanufactured inkjet cartridge are:
• The conditions of the empty cartridges have to be appropriate for them to be remanufactured. It takes months for a printer to empty a cartridge and the users also do not think of throwing them off as they can easily be refilled. This serves as the main challenge for production of remanufactured inkjet cartridge as their availability in the amounts expected by the producers is absent. The cartridges have to be original in nature (should not have been refilled before by scrupulous ink). Choosing such cartridges is a challenge for the producers.
• The cartridges have to be tested electronically for their consistency and functions. This is more or less a fail and a pass test. No middle ground is possible as that may destroy the printer life.
• The empty cartridges are cleaned thoroughly with ultrasonic techniques and all the remaining ink granules are removed out of it. It is then dipped in cleaning solvents for filling up.
• Experts and professionals then refuel the cartridges under strict supervision. This refuelling work is done under the expected vacuum, ink flow rate, and pressure. Very expensive filling machines fulfill this task. Several cartridges get filled up at the same instance and once that work is done, they are packaged for delivery.
